February 6, 2019 rice-planting festival Shinto ritual


Shinto ritual that ancient rite is refined and is carried out in hope of good harvest of one year

Shinto ritual to be carried out in Gosho-jinja Shrine which is famous for Osugi. We pray for good harvest and dedicate conduct of rice-transplanting. In the ceremony, it be revealed to seven of naetorishiki, breakfast type, tilling of a paddy field type, lunch type, stride type, rice-transplanting type, dinner type, and, during seedling collecting, ceremony of rice-transplanting, small distribution of young rice plants (man) jeers at drum for signal. After ceremony, offering to in front of God is served. Immaterial folk cultural assets of prefecture
